Enter the Triduum

Enter the Triduum

As we enter the holiest days of our Catholic church year, may we keep our focus on Christ’s presence in our lives.
Easter Triduum

The large Last Supper puzzle that is framed and displayed in the prayer gathering space at Remsen St. Mary’s Middle/High School was donated by the Klein family in memory of Chuck Klein. Students are reminded that the Eucharist is central to our faith as they pass by this artwork multiple times every day.

This year, for the Lenten season, the Pieta sculpture was added to this area as a visible reminder of the Passion of our Lord. The sculpture was given to the school in memory of Larry Brazil, who was the instrumental music teacher at St. Mary’s from 1962-1987.

If you look closely, you will see the reflection of the Mary statue that graces the hall at St. Mary’s. Mary holds a special place in our hearts and helps us to keep our focus on Jesus, Our Savior.

May this year’s Triduum and Easter Sunday be especially blessed for you and your families.
